NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)

National Service Scheme (NSS) has been introduced at this college in 2006 as a part of academic programmer & since then NSS has been functioning as a regular feature in the realm of our college education. The activities of NSS are being conducted in 2 categories : Regular & Camp activities.

Regular activities include projects such as campus development, tree plantation, womern welfare & programmes based on public awareness on HIV/AIDS. Under camp activities NSS unit organise 10 days camp in different selected villages. Projects are selected according to the need of rural life. While interacting with the community, students learn many things which they cant learn in theory classes. Thus, the scheme is aimed at developing the human soul in such a way as the student is mentally shaped to fit into the society to which they also belongs & will continue to live in.
