Electrical Workshop
Electricity plays an important role in our life. All of us are familiar with the functions that electricity can perform. It is necessary for engineering students to know about electrical work. In the electric shop, knowledge is given about its application, electrical instruments, domestic, and industrial wiring installations, electrical appliances & precautions while dealing with electricity.
Carpentry Workshop
It is one of the most important workshops, as all manufacturing processes move around it. All the complicated designs are first worked on wood, because it is easy to be worked on and economical. All primary patterns are made out of wood. Hence carpentry may be described as trade which deals with the wood, which is used to make wooden goods and components like roofs, floors, doors, etc. by using carpentry tools.
Welding Workshop
Welding is a process of joining two materials with the help of heat or pressure some by other means. The cost of welding is very less as compared to other processes and forms a strong joint.
For this reason it is largely used in the following fields of engineering :
(a) Manufacturing of machine tools, auto parts, cycle part etc.
(b) Fabrication of farm machinery & equipment.
(c) Fabrication of buildings, bridges & ships.
(d) Construction of boilers, bridges, furnaces, railways, cars etc.
(e) Manufacturing of television sets, refrigerators, kitchen cabinets etc.
General Engg. Workshop
The Physics & Chemistry laboratories are equipped with spherometer, Vernier callipers, screw gauge etc to help the students in various engineering subjects. It helps the students in the volumetric Analysis, Qualitative Analysis, Quantitative Analysis, Salt analysis etc
