TEXTILE PROCESSING LABS
Textile Testing Laboratory
This laboratory is equipped with physical and chemical testing apparatus for testing of various types of textiles. The major equipments are Single yarn breaking strength M/c, Profile Projection Microscope, Crease recovery tester, Cloth density tester, Wrap real, Beasley’s yarn balance, Crock meter, Conditioning Oven, Twist tester, Laundrometer etc.
Textile Printing Laboratory
This laboratory facilitates the printing of different types of fabrics. Different types of printing mechanisms Like Drying and Curing M/c., Four colour Printing M/c., Yarn Printing M/c., Single colour Roller M/c., Cloth Folding M/c., Paddle Mangle M/c., Spray Printing M/c., Hydro Extractor, Block Printing are being taught in this state of the art laboratory. Facility of curing chamber are also available in this laboratory.
Textile Dyeing Laboratory
This laboratory is equipped with machines like Cabinet Dyeing M/c., Hank Dyeing M/c., Paddle dyeing machine, Kier Boiling M/c., Color evaluation unit, Padding mangle, Wash wheel, Jigger, Steam ager, Hydro Extractor etc. The practicals are conducted on small scale in this laboratory.
Finishing Laboratory
In this lab finishing of the fabric is being taught. It is equipped with Space Master Drycleaning M/c., Washing M/c., Steam Press with Boiler, Hydroextractor etc.
