DEPARTMENT OF TEXTILE PROCESSING
This department caters to the manpower need of textile processing industry. The department provides latest state of the art technology in the field of textile processing .The students apart from getting theoretical knowledge as well as practical knowledge in various fully equipped laboratories, also go in for intensive and extensive practical training at shop floor level in different Textile processing industries.
The duration of the course is three years (six semesters). It aims at turning out students who after completing their training will be capable of taking up responsible position in various Textile Industries and Dye Houses or of starting their own independent business. The medium of instructions is English. Intensive training is imparted in Bleaching, Dyeing, Printing, Finishing, Testing and all types of Textile materials both in theory as well as practical. The annual intake is 40.
